Meetings at MAC

Here are a couple of dates for your diary.

Parents/Teacher Meeting

Wednesday 25^th of November. 6pm at the Northblock.

This meeting is for all families who have students starting in Years 7 - 9 at MAC in 2021. There will be general information shared with all families and a Q & A with parents. There will be an opportunity for families to meet with the curriculum leaders of Years 7, 8 and 9. There will also be an opportunity for families to meet with the Junior Dean of each house.

Y6 Orientation Visit

Monday 30^th November - 9:45am-12:30

Y9 Holy Family Orientation Visit

Tuesday 1^st December - 9:00am-10:00am

New Principal Announced

Limited statutory manager, Madeleine Hawkesby, has today announced the appointment of Pakuranga College deputy principal, Nicola Jacobsen, to the role of Mount Aspiring College principal. The appointment follows a robust recruitment process led by Hawkesby in consultation with the board of trustees.

New Weekly Structure

Due to the number of students we have now split our assemblies into two groups, the Seniors and the Juniors. Senior assemblies are on Wednesdays at 8:35am every other week - on the odd weeks. Junior assemblies are on the Friday of the same week. All students start at 8:55am on Mondays. When the Senior assembly is on, juniors start at 8:55am and when the Junior assembly is on, Seniors start at 8:55am.

House meeting will take place in the alternate week with Barker meeting on Tuesdays, Iron Wednesday, Pisa Thursday and Roy on Friday. Students will attend whānau when they don't have a house meeting.
