Gold Award for the 40 Hour Famine Effort

The World Vision 40 Hour Famine this year was amazing. We exceeded our goal of $10,000, raising a spectacular amount of $10,841.

We would like to thank everyone who participated and helped us do this. We hope you had fun doing it. Your efforts are hugely appreciated and will go a long way in helping the children of South Sudan.

Seven students outstandingly raised over $300: Aria Winter ($315), Eli McArthur ($345), Abigail Winter ($376), Joseph Combe ($460), Tivi De Souza ($515) and Che De Souza ($550). The student who raised the most money and gets the skydive voucher from Skydive Wanaka is Bonnie McGregor in Year 8 who raised $604. Well done Bonnie, what a great effort.

The Year 7 and 8 class who raised the most money and gets the $100 New World Voucher was 7BW who raised $1064.

House Results: 1st Pisa with $3,560, 2nd Barker $2,766, 3rd Iron with $2,216, 4th Roy with $1,744.
